MICHELE SKUPIC IS ON OUR SHOW

Fidelity National Financial, Inc named Michele E. Skupic as the Vice President, National Director, of their newly formed FNF Sustainable Strategies division. Skupic is a 33 year veteran of the title industry, most recently as the VP of Chicago Title’s Northern CA Commercial Division.

Her new role with the parent company FNF will include implementing their technologies for paperless transactions, expanding their national Green Branch Certification Program, and introducing new products and services to support sustainable commercial, residential and alternative energy transactions.

She is an active member of the USGBC; Greenwise; Valley Vision; ACRE; CREW and is on the board of directors for the Green Cabinet. She also served on Sacramento Mayor Johnson’s Green Building Task Force.

She and her high school sweet heart ,Walker, will celebrate their 32nd wedding anniversary this year, and have a 19 yr old daughter Kylie, who is in her second year at American River College. They live in Granite Bay, CA with their two Aussies Shiloh, and Thumper the rabbit.

Lawrence Gust founder of Gust Environmental received a BS Electrical Engineering degree and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin. Jeff Danley has been managing third-party investment capital since 2001. Jeff began his career at Arthur Andersen in the company's Global Corporate Finance group where he provided M&A advisory and support services. He later joined CCP Equity Partners, a Hartford, Connecticut-based private equity firm with $500 million under management. STEVEN EDRINGTON

Steven Edrington specializes in investment brokerage, property management and consulting.

An overview of Mr. Edrington’s career in real estate demonstrates a unique set of skills and experiences that contributes to his success as a professional and a reputation as an expert in his field.

The lucky “accident” that launched Mr. Edrington’s career was a job as a real estate appraiser for an independent fee appraiser and then for Bank of America. He quickly developed a talent for astutely analyzing and evaluating properties (a skill key to his success today), and recognized his calling in real estate investment. With a Finance degree from Golden Gate University, it was an easy transition to an internship with MacFarlane Partners where he provided real estate valuation of commercial property for pension fund investors.

In 1995, he took two important steps in his career path. First, he joined Grubb and Ellis as an Associate Investment Broker specializing in apartment buildings. This, and a subsequent position with Moison Investment, gave him invaluable practical experience, especially in multi-family properties, but he wanted to be a real expert. This led him to his first Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) classes and eventually, to his CCIM designation in 1999.

In 2000, Mr. Edrington started his own firm, Steven Edrington and Associates, initially focusing on investments, primarily in apartment buildings. Because of his focus on multi-family properties, he was an active member of the East Bay Rental Housing Association (formerly known as RHANAC), serving on its Board and eventually as President of the Association in 2001. In 2002 he stepped off the board to accept responsibility as its Executive Director. In the first 18 months under his leadership, the organization grew 50% in new members and more than doubled its revenue. He also represented then RHANAC on the board of the California Apartment Association.

Mr. Edrington’s work with EBRHA placed him in the public eye where he is often called upon to speak on behalf of its members to the media and before local and state governments. He has also been a guest host for the weekly radio show, “Rock, Roll and Real Estate” on KNEW 910 AM.

Continuing education, whether as a student or a teacher, has always been important to Mr. Edrington. He was an Adjunct Professor of Real Estate and frequently has led classes in Rent Control, Eviction Restrictions, and Managing Rental Property. He continually seeks opportunities to learn more and has racked up an impressive list of credentials and designations including:
